 Educating and Empowering the Next Generation of Water Leaders

 

Water Emissaries teaches young adults how to create solutions to water and environmental issues through empathy-based problem-solving. By equipping the next generation leaders with tools they can use now and into the future, students are prepared to be advocates for water, no matter where the flow of life takes them. 

Working in conjunction with the Water Innovation Accelerator’s WELL Community , WE are building a global community of young leaders to solve our world's most challenging water and environmental issues. We do this by offering free educational programming to promote equal access to resources across intersectional identities and platforms.

Happy Wednesday! Micro plastics are a growing concern for not only marine life but us too as the enter our food chain!
Remember to turn off your sink when brushing your teeth! And experiment with turning off the shower when you wash your hair or applying soap!

The first part of our programming always starts off with education! No matter your background WE teach you the complexities of the water issue.
Working with empathy is a core value here at Water Emissaries!
After years of dumping people are coming together to try and solve the dilemma. $11.2 million has been budgeted cumulatively from the state and federal governments.
WE are hoping to make our future more sustainable by training student scientists who will change our tomorrow! Stay tuned to learn more about our internships!
Wetlands are constantly under threat from run-off, climate change and development. Unfortunately they are an extreme frágil ecosystem which hundreds of thousands of animals and plants rely on.
Water Innovation Advisors focuses on helping people and companies use water safety and wisely!
Unfortunately plastic has been found in the depths of the Mariana Trench. So remember to bring a reusable shopping bag with you when you go to the store!
